What to Write on LinkedIn. Content Ideas

Ideas for Week commencing 19 June

How was your weekend? Whatever you did you could probably write about that eh?

I was in London where I gave a talk about not trying to be perfect, just cracking on and getting started.

Don't you find that we put things off because they are not quite right? We procrastinate because we are waiting for that perfect thing to happen before we take action.

Stop it now.

Just go for it. Your content will never be perfect. But it will be better than 99% of people on LinkedIn because only 1% of LinkedIn users actually create their own content.

I've got a few days off this week so if you need me this week I may take longer to respond

Have a fantastic week!!

This week my video is taken whilst dashing for my train in London!

Here are ideas for Content this week.

Because the days are longer then we have more light for photos. Have a look through your camera roll on your phone and pick something to talk about.

So many things to share and create content about

So come on what's stopping you?

Here are my ideas for this week.

A Big Trip

I was in London twice last week and my post letting people know that my train was cancelled went gangbangers with nearly 9,000 impressions. Coming from Devon a trip to London is huge . Do you do long trips? Do you get travel anxiety? How do you plan? Take a selfie at the station or on the train for maximum impact. We're interested in what you are up to, so please get sharing.

The Longest Day

Wednesday 21 June is the longest day here in the UK. Do you do anything special? Do you go to Stonehenge? Do you love the light evenings? What do you get up to on these lovely long evenings? Do you have little ones who don't think it's bedtime yet? Have you ever been anywhere further north where there is little or even no darkness this time of the year?

Glastonbury 2023

Have you ever been? Are you going this year? Will you be watching it on TV? There are so many things to write about. Your favourite artists, camping, the wonderful bathroom facilities. What about the headliners and who can forget the MUD!!! Elton John is the main act this year. Who would you choose?

Bring Your Dog To Work Day

This is Friday 23 June. There's even a website! Who knew? Do you take your dog to work anyway? Some offices are dog friendly and they all take their dogs to work. What is your dog doing normally, talk about that. If you have a working dog then tell us about them and what they do. And remember the photo, a dog photo always does well!!

When I did a panel last week around LinkedIn with two accountants who get business weekly from their LinkedIn activities a great question and topic we discussed was Video. Yes, I know you don't want to do a video, but a video is a great piece of content to really get your audience to know the real you. Why not say, this is my first video and ask for feedback at the end? People buy from people who they know, like, and trust and a video is the best medium to get that feeling. Use one of the topics above to give you inspiration.

You've got this!!!

Are you coming to The Next FREE LinkedIn Surgery

Free help, just drop in. Why not book next month? Monday 3 July

An open Zoom forum where you can just drop in and ask me ANYTHING. I pick a theme each month and this one it's our experience section.

The feedback I get from these intimate sessions is always great and you get some time to ask me questions and get inspiration to do even more on LinkedIn.

Remember what you need to do each day? It's all about creating a habit!

You should aim to do most of these actions every day!!
