What Content Works Best on LinkedIn for Attracting Clients


Every week I create a nudge to my clients to help them with content. In this blog I feature that very same nudge to help you to.


There is not one thing that generates clients. It's all about consistency.


So you need to get posting and creating content!


Here's this weeks Monday Nudge. My email.


How was your weekend? Are you ready and back to normal? That's my first suggestion for you this week. (see below)



My next suggestion is to get booked on my FREE LinkedIn Surgery on 2 May. It's normally the 1st Monday of the month, but that's a bank holiday



It's a chance for you to ask me questions, and connect with other fans of LinkedIn and I can even do a review of your profile, posts or banner etc. In fact, we can talk about anything.


This month's special topic is REACHING OUT!!!!

Here are ideas for Content this week.

I heard a podcast where the guy was saying that we don't have time to create content. But if you do not create at least one post per week you are missing out.

On the LinkedIn webinar last week Samantha Mitcham FMAAT talked about how she set aside an afternoon each week to create content for the coming week.




This is a slide from my LinkedIn Daily Habit Workshop which is Samantha's strategy for content for 2021. She got business from her Tax Tip Tuesdays


I am still waiting for the webinar link. But as soon as I get it, I'll share it with you.


Could you come up with a theme for just ONE day a week?

Back to Normal after Easter

Do you find that when we have a public holiday all your routines go out of the window? Then why not write about this and how you cope and offer some top tips? You could share what you do to mitigate returning issues or backlogs. What about saying how the break has helped you to take stock? So many things that could spark a conversation and engagement on your post.


World Penguin Day 25 April

Not the biscuit, the bird! Penguins are super cute, cool and amazing creatures! That's why we should totally have a day just for them, right? Why not share your penguin stories or environmental initiatives you are taking with your CSR policy? Have you ever seen them in the wild? Why not talk about why you love them, or maybe you use an image of one in your company logo, today is the day to tell us all about it.


FOMO (The Fear Of Missing Out)

Do you ever like you are missing out on something? I wrote a post about this yesterday. We all have these feelings so how do you cope? What stories can you share about your FOMO. Are you the person who makes us feel the FOMO? Maybe copy my idea and show you at the other event. Do you use FOMO in your marketing? It's a great strategy that I have been reading about in Donald Millers' book, "Building a Story Brand"


I'm a Celebrity South Africa

This new show starts tonight!! Are you a fan of the 'Celebrity' franchise? Are you looking forward to watching celebs eating bugs or do you feel twice a year is too much? Are programme makers clutching at straws, or is this a genius idea? Will you be tuning in? Would you want to be in the camp and eat bugs? Share your thoughts and maybe put a spin on your story to bring in your business.


International Jazz Day 30 April

With the Jazz festival in a few weeks' time here in Sidmouth how cool that we have a day for Jazz. Nice. Do you do jazz? Do you play one of those cool instruments? Tell us about it. Do you have anything to do with Jazz? Share your best Jazz stories. Do you go to Jazz festivals? Why do you like Jazz? Do you prefer songs with structure, or do you like how the music can turn into a bit of a jam? Share some musicians that we may not have heard of.

  • Consider writing your own post. PLEASE aim to write ONE post per WEEK

  • Connect with someone
