What can I Write on LinkedIn for Engagement?

Why should we do Content?
How are you getting on with your content and activity on LinkedIn?
I've had great fun these last couple e of weeks and enjoying seeing your content too. It only needs to be once a week you know.
Because it's Blue Monday I have recorded a video to help you put some positivity out on LinkedIn today. You can view the video here. It will show you how to create a poll and get great engagement.
Good luck.

Here are my 5 ideas for you this week
I love getting feedback from you about what you are doing on LinkedIn. When a comment pop's on one of my posts saying that they have written a post themselves I am brimming with pride. This could be you if you commit to writing your own content. Here are my ideas this week and a special bonus video! (see below) Have fun and just have a go!
Down the Gym
Do you visit the gym for fitness or other reasons? Has it been busier this last week? If you are just starting out, why not document your progress? When I started my Sit Up challenge least year I shared what I was doing this encouraged me to keep it going. I now do 150 press-ups every day (not weekends). I've just purchased some resistance bands so this will be added to my routine. What is your routine? Can you encourage us to get more exercise?
Blue Monday (Positive Spin)
Why does the New Order song pop into my head? This Monday of January is supposed to be the most depressing day of the year, so why not spin it on it's head and drop some positivity on the platform on this gloomiest of days? Talk about how you've overcome difficult times. Showcase positive things. These could be songs, websites, books, movies, podcasts or just people whom you know who are uplifting and cheery. You could do a top ten list of any of the above or maybe a poll of your three most uplifting movies and get people to vote on them with the fourth option as OTHER so that people add their ideas too.
I've just recorded a video to help you to create your own list. Its HERE
Winnie the Pooh Day 18 January How many people do you know who are like Tigger or Eyeore? We all know these people in our lives eh? Why not share your thoughts on Winnie the Pooh? What other books give you a perspective on people? Who do you aspire to be like? How do we get the Rabbits in our network to just slow down a bit and stop worrying? What other analogies can you come up with on Winnie the Pooh day? National Hug Day 21 January Who doesn't love a hug? I really missed the hugs during the pandemic and at the moment I am really missing them again. My poor wife has had Covid all year so we've not had a hug for a while. We're in separate bedrooms so that I can stay safe. (Don't worry I am being a good nurse). Do you give hugs? Do you have a go-to expert when you need a decent hug? Or has the pandemic made you reel when someone comes in close? Why do we hug? There are so many avenues that you can go down with a hug. Ask a Question Why not invite your audience to ask you a question? For free? Maybe you are a photographer or a tax expert. Why not do a post suggesting that you can help people, but all they need to do is ask a question? This could give you loads of future content ideas and also establishes you as a bit of an expert in your specific area. You may have a different hobby that you could share information about. Or maybe you know a specific bit of software inside out? I hope that one or two of these ideas will help you to come up with some original content this week. If you have other ideas to help me next week, please, please, please get in touch. I'll credit you in my Monday Nudge and on my blog pages as a thank you. I am here to help so if you have any questions please send me a DM on LinkedIn. Don't forget my video explaining all of the above. Here's the video for this week Have fun! That's what it's about eh?
