What can I post on LinkedIn? Ideas for creating content

Do you review your week on LinkedIn?

A few weeks ago I started to review what I did for the week and put it into a weekly blog to help with my SEO on my Website. This has turned out to be a real game-changing idea as I am so much closer to what I am doing on LinkedIn and I suggest you have to think about what you are doing on LinkedIn regarding your reviews too. I break each post down and run a critical eye over it to see what went right and what didn't and therefore the coming week I am more mindful when creating my content. The view numbers for my Weekly videos for example have dropped off, so I have come up with some ideas on how to improve that. If you want to see how my posts are performing and learn from my mistakes you can read the blog here. Five content ideas this week. (See below for more detail)

  • Paddle Boards

  • Networking

  • Choosing from the menu.

  • The Heatwave

  • Last days of school

Here are five content ideas to help you this week. Engagement is down so let's make a concerted effort this week to come up with some different ideas. I give you 5 main ideas and expand on each topic to give you some ideas about how to bring these up in the form of a post on LinkedIn. Creating content is all about consistency (did I mention that before?). So think outside the box and come up with something new this week. You only need to create one spot per week and then build upon that. I'm here to help, so please send me a DM or drop into the Alumni Group and share your thoughts and ideas. Good luck with creating content this week and please stay cool, it'll be a bit warm. As you know, I record a video each week too. Here is This week's VIDEO You should also know by now that I want you to love using LinkedIn so if I can help please get in touch and I'll record a help video to give you a hand! All of my help and 'how-to' videos are on my YouTube Channel. If you cannot see what you are looking for, let me know and I'll create one for you! If you have any questions please drop them on the Private Alumni Group pages or send me a DM on LinkedIn. Have a fantastic week and keep smiling. Here we go..... Paddle Boards (or other watercraft) Do you go out on the water? Or in it if you have a surf or body board? With the lovely weather, we've been having are out more than normal? What is it about your board, canoe, or kayak that you enjoy and does this have any bearing on your wellbeing? How did you get into it? What's the funniest thing that happened when enjoying your sport? Networking I've been to three networking events this week, one a proper organised and established breakfast meeting. Another was a handful of people from a national group that we belong to having lunch was one that I have set up. What is it you like about networking? Do you have any tips for great networking? Is it outside of your comfort zone? Have you got any great stories of how you met one of your best clients at one of these events or did you even find love at such an event? There must be loads that you can share, maybe even your horror stories! Menu Options I am working with a client on their pricing model at the moment and they have loads of different services that they need to make their clients aware of, but it looks messy. This got me thinking about how we price our products and service and do we make it too complicated. Surely we can come up with a menu pricing solution. Do you do this? Talk about how you find menu pricing. Whether as a customer or in your business. DO you love it when you have loads of choice, or does it confuse you and you wish for simplicity? Some pizza restaurants have so many options you feel overwhelmed and probably get FOMO eh? The UK Heatwave Are you enjoying the sunny weather or is it causing you and your team lots of aggravation and you are finding it difficult to cope? Are you embracing the heat and adding extra services or products or are you looking forward to when it gets a bit cooler again? I bumped into a friend yesterday who was complaining that he'll have to put his tent up in the heat? Not sure about you, but surely that's better than putting it up in the rain . It's funny how our weather is never quite right for us? Last Days of School With the school summer holidays approaching why not reflect on your last days of school. Were they the best years of your life, or was the big wide world a bit traumatic? If you have youngsters how are they feeling? Did you take a gap year or just go right out and work? Do you wish that you went to University or what advice would you give your 16-year-old self if you could go back in time? Don't forget your everyday steps to create a sustainable habit? You should aim to do most of these actions every day!!
