What Can I post on LinkedIn?

Do you struggle with ideas on what to post on LinkedIn?
I often get asked, “What type of content is best for LinkedIn?” Or “How long should a LinkedIn post be?” I am Ashley Leeds and I'm the 15-minute guy! Getting you loving LinkedIn in just 15 Minutes a day! Or your money BACK.
It's more than just creating content. Consistency is king. I’m not saying to create content every day or multiple times a day. It’s all about being consistent. So if Tuesday is the only day that works for you, then make that happen. How much easier will life be if you know that each Tuesday you will create some content?
Now that the little ones are back to school and we a starting to get back into the swing of things, now is the perfect time to create content. What are you waiting for? Here are my five ideas for this week. FIVE NEW ideas for creating content - week 36! Inspirational People Having just listened to Fearne Cotton on a podcast and a couple of other podcasts this week I am amazed at the effect these people have on me. They offer so much inspiration. Do you have anyone who you follow, know or are close to who inspires you? Talk about how you are inspired. Let us know what you've been up to when you are feeling unmotivated and how this person is a beacon for you. Maybe even invite people to share their inspirations for you, and get some great engagement. Planning Are you a planner? I have been working with one of my clients and we've just mapped out their work for this week. It's left them feeling super motivated to crack on this week and get some really tough jobs done. Do you have lists? Do you use a software package to help you get the jobs done? Is Sunday your day for working out what needs to be done for the coming week? What about other tools that you use? Have you read any productivity books that you could recommend? Share your methods if they work for you, but if you are left at the end of the week wondering where the time went, why not ask for suggestions on how to improve your planning? Kicking off September Have you got some goals or plans that you want to achieve for September? Why not share your plans and get some instant accountability? My September is all about getting my book ready for a launch in October. Now I've told you, I feel more compelled to get it done. Could you do the same? It's not a brag, it's sharing what you are aiming to do. You could even be inspiring someone else to pick up the pace and get something done. Use your post to ask your audience what their plans are for September. Many people whom I talk to say that this September is a bit like January so they are feeling re-energised and ready to get stuff done. Is this you? Document Post Try a document post. Maybe you offer a service and have a free tips sheet that you give away. Why not make it into a document post on LinkedIn and share your ideas? Remember that the document can be downloaded. If you make it valuable and useful then people will download it and on the last page, you can have all your contact details or your calls to action!! National Payroll Week Perfect for all my lovely Accountants & Bookkeepers eh? Talk about payroll!!. Talk about how easy it is to do yourself and offer some top tips. Do not use this as an idea to get people to come to you for payroll. If you are not an Accountant or Bookkeeper you could talk about what you do. Do you use software to help, or do you use a professional to help you? Taking place on 5-9 September, National Payroll Week was established to raise the profile and awareness of payroll in the UK. It helps demonstrate the impact payroll has on the UK economy by contributing towards the £4.46bn* collected through income tax and National Insurance. Hopefully, this has given you some ideas to create content. Those are my ideas to help you this week. I've put 101 of these ideas into a book so keep an eye out this week for more around the book! Every week I turn this into a video for my Monday LinkedIn Post. You can find week 36 here. I am here to help so if you have any questions please drop them on the Private Alumni Group pages or send me a DM on LinkedIn. Good luck this week.
