Should I Post on LinkedIn Over Christmas and New Year?

Did you have a break over Christmas?

How was your Christmas? Thanks for checking out my blog today and I'm sorry you get it on a bank holiday.

When I set out to write an email every Monday I didn't think about Christmas week. I committed to delivering a Monday Nudge to turn into my blog for you each week along with a video.

Today I have completed my Video Challenge. Every week for a whole year I have produced a video of The Monday Nudge, you can find my 52nd video in my LinkedIn post today.

If you do want to create some content this week here are some ideas.

I'd be interested to know how you get on or if you even bother.

Have a fantastic festive break and rest assured I'll be here every Monday during 2023

all the best

My thoughts for a quiet No News week

It's going to be quiet this week so why not give yourself the time off and spend time with your special people? If you are around and your clients will be around, then create some content. I give you permission to take some time off. I will be posting every day and you'll find out why soon. Here are my thoughts for the final week of 2022

Review of your year Share what you have been up to in 2022. Stop comparing yourself to people who you admire and compare yourself to where you were at the end of 2021. By looking back you'll realise how far you actually have come. Share your highlights and don't be afraid to share what went wrong. Maybe drop in your learnings from those mistakes. Plans for 2023 If you share your plans you'll have more chance of achieving them. It's Pearsons Law so let us know what you'll be up to. Do you have any grand plans to move or expand? Do your plans need outside help? If so why not ask for that help, the community on LinkedIn are very keen to share their expertise. Twixmas This is that dull time between Christmas and New Year. What are you doing? Do you have any family traditions that you can share? If you are working, what are you doing? Why not share photos of you and the team in a quiet office? We have a family birthday so we never stop, what do you do if you have a birthday during this period? Do you do lots of family things, or what about charity work? Is this the time that you do your planning or fix that leaky tap? New Year Do you have a lavish party or do you go to bed when Jools Holland has finished his Hootenany? What about the pub with live music? Will you be in Fancy Dress - In Exmouth each year the town is full of fancy dressed party goers and revellers, is there anything like this near you? What traditions do you have or is this the year that you'll start a new tradition? Dry January By the time my next Monday Nudge appears it'll be January. Why not talk about Dry January There is always plenty of coverage for Dry January so is this something that you do? Have you done it in the past? Again, why not tell us? Is it for health reasons? Or do you just like a challenge? Why not do something anti-Dry January? I feel for all the publicans during January because of this movement. Or what about a list of your top ten alternative drinks? Do you know much about alcohol-free beers that you could recommend? Good luck this week. But please do not worry if you cannot post. Like I always maintain, just one post per week is all you need to do!! I am here to help so if you have any questions please drop me a DM on LinkedIn. Don't forget my video explaining all of the above. WATCH my Final video here. Have fun!
