How do I create content on LinkedIn?

Here we are nearly in March. My themes this week are varied, but fun and have some great opportunities for photos, from pancakes to daffodils and even fancy dress. Photo posts do well and are easier to write about. Why not give it a go this week eh?

New Workshop (See below)

Here are your 5 suggestions for content this week.

My LinkedIn Post today is a video of this Only 1% of people on LinkedIn actually create content. This week is your time to shine!!!

  • St David's Day It is also Pancake Day on 1 March too. So plenty to talk about. Great opportunities to talk about the advent of spring and also what your favourite pancake topping is

  • The 6 Nations Have you been enjoying the rugby? Have you been shouting at the TV? Three weeks down and still all to play for. Who are you following? Talk about big sporting events that grip a nation. Are you doing anything at work to celebrate this?

  • Fundraising for Ukraine I've seen several people doing events to help raise money for Ukraine. Are you doing anything? Have you thought about helping out? Do you have a CSR policy in your business? What original ideas do you have?

  • World Book Day You have heard me banging on about books here before, but with world book day there is so much to discuss and get engagement. How about what your children are dressing up as. Best authors? Best self-improvement books? Poll opportunities galore . If you are comfortable why not share some fancy dress photos?

  • Worried about posting on LinkedIn In my workshop that I ran last week I had a few people totally new to LinkedIn and they got me thinking about the bigger picture of being anxious about posting on here. Why not share your experience of posting on LinkedIn. Say how you managed to overcome that fear. What tips do you have? If this is going to be your first ever post on LinkedIn, why not say and share your journey from not liking LinkedIn to now, just about to post!

Don't forget!!! You should aim to do the following tasks every day on LinkedIn.

You should aim to do most of these actions every day!!

  • Check your notifications and respond to any comments.

  • Answer any messages

  • Respond to any connection requests

  • Make a note of your numbers for monitoring

  • Comment and like posts

  • Consider writing your own post. PLEASE aim to write ONE post per WEEK

  • Connect with someone
