Creating Consistent Content on LinkedIn. Why is it KING

Here we are on another Bank Holiday . How is your weekend going? Are you doing anything work-related, are you volunteering today?

Whatever you do, are you thinking about creating a post on LinkedIn? But a little scared?

Spare a thought for Stella. She has been putting off sharing a video, but this week she was brave and just went for it.

The response has been immense.

Stella is one of the loveliest people I know and she doesn't stop her profound deafness stop her. Just watch my live show with her to see why I say this. I tried hard not to cry when she told me why she chose my song.

But, due to her hearing loss issues, she worries about what people say and therefore has not done any videos. Until this week. Stella will be doing more videos.

It was just the hurdle of the first one.

And that's all I want you to do.

Get over your fear and just go for it.

It doesn't even need to be a video.

If you have any questions or want a hand, please get in touch. I want you to love LinkedIn.

Have a fantastic week

Ashley

Here are ideas for Content this week.

It's all about the coronation at the moment eh? So why not come up with some topics to share what you are doing?

But there are loads of other things going on. Just keep your eyes peeled and take loads of photos and use these as the inspiration for your content!!

Here are my ideas for this week.

Good luck

Accountex (other trade shows work too)

If you have seen any of my recent posts you'll notice that I am a little excited about Accountex. It's the biggest exhibition for Accountants & Bookkeepers and as well as speaking and being on a stand I am looking forward to catching up with people.

Are you going? What are you hoping to see? Do you have any tips on what to do? Who to see? You may be going to a similar trade show, why not talk about this and see if your post can inspire other people to attend or catch up with you?

If you're coming, please find me on stand 430 or on the stage of Theatre 3 at midday on Thursday. Tickets are free HERE

Women's FA Cup Final

Women's football is super popular. Do you watch it? It promotes gender equality and encourages our young girls to pursue their athletic dreams. Talk about how they are inspiring our young women to do different things. Share how you are involved or if you do any sports like this. Will you be going? Do you follow a team? Has the Women's world cup got you hooked?

World Donkey Day (8 May)

I live just down the road from the Donkey Sanctuary here in Sidmouth, Devon. When I noticed this pop up I wondered if anyone has ever been to the sanctuary or been involved with Donkeys. If you have, it's time to celebrate the donkey. Or maybe you want to share a donkey joke. What do you call a donkey with three legs? A wonky! Do you have a favourite local charity that you could talk about or where you're involved?

National Limerick Day (12 May)

National Limerick Day is set on 12th May to mark the birthday of Edward Lear, the English writer known for his works of nonsensical prose and poetry. Can you come up with a fun Limerick to commemorate the day? Be creative and make it about what you do. Or how a client has helped you, or one of your team. I asked ChatGPT to have a go.

There was a speaker named Ashley,

At Accountex, he spoke so dashly,

He taught us LinkedIn,

In a way that was keen,

Now we'll network like pros, quite gladly!

Here's what I asked ChatGPT to do.

Write a limerick about Ashley speaking about LinkedIn at the Accountex exhibition and how people will learn all about using LinkedIn in an easy and fun way

Recommend a Show

We were lucky to be able to go to London on Thursday to see Back to the Future, the Musical at the Adelphi Theatre. OMG, it was awesome. It was like being immersed in the movie! So it got me thinking. What shows have you been to? Could you share how it made you feel? What did you like about it and can you spin it back to anything that you are doing? Like great teamwork, or fun working environments? Or just do a review. We all love a real theatre show eh?

Does this get you thinking about writing content then? If you create content, you'll not only get more profile views, you be closer to improving your writing skills. I had this comment from a post I made this week. That’s terrific! You’re an excellent writer. This is only because I keep practising. What's stopping you? Come on, if not for me, do it for Stella Here's This WEEKS Video Have fun! That's what it's about eh?
