5 Tips For Writing A LinkedIn Post People Will Read. Engaging Content Ideas for Social Media Growth

It's National Smile Month.
BOOM!!!
That definitely brought a smile to my face. There's something about a smile don't you think? It's the one thing that I always mention when I share my thoughts and ideas when I talk about improving your photo on your LinkedIn Profile.
You need to smile. And make sure your eyes smile too.
We're enjoying some great sunshine here in the UK and I reckon that fewer people are scrolling on LinkedIn, which, combined with the recent school holidays is showing up as less engagement on my content.
Are you seeing the same?
Don't worry, we all have dips, just stay consistent and don't panic.
As long as you are showing up then that's all the matters.
Have a fantastic week!!

Here are ideas for Content this week.
Obviously, I am going to talk about Smile Month. But there are so many things that we can talk about this week. Don't forget that if you ever get stuck that you can look through your photo's on your phone and I bet you have an inspiring story to share!
Here are my ideas for this week.
National Smile Month
I love smiling and I talk about smiling all the time because if you're going to do your profile picture, you need to be smiling in your photo and you also need to smile with your eyes as well because people love a smile. So what does a smile mean to you?
Talk about smiling, talk about people you know who smile, talk about what makes a winning smile. Share some smiley photos.
Love Island
It's back on again tonight. So what is it about reality TV shows that we like?
What is it about reality TV shows that you like, Discuss the reasons why we enjoy reality TV and highlight inspiring individuals who have emerged from these shows. Maybe you've got some stories or you know somebody that has been one one of these shows?
Testimonials
Are you asking for testimonials on LinkedIn? They're called recommendations. How do you have social proof? Talk about your testimonials. Think about putting a post out that actually tells people about what you've done in the voice of one of your clients. Share your social proof stories in a fun way rather than a salesy way.
Prince would be 65 (7 June)
With his Birthday this week, why not look at Prince's musical legacy? What kind of music do you like? How about a poll on his birthday to determine everyone's favourite Prince track? Or better yet, discuss the incredible things he accomplished beyond music. There are loads of topics to explore! Or go on a tangent and share your love for guitarists.
Polls
When was the last time you conducted a poll? Polls can spark conversations and are easy for people to vote on. While they were once popular, they are less common now on LinkedIn. However, there's still value in using polls. Consider incorporating a well-designed poll with a compelling story to engage your audience. Give it a try and see the impact it has. See my engaging poll from yesterday to give you some inspiration. 112 Votes so far. Do you use AI?
Remember what you need to do each day? It's all about creating a habit!
You should aim to do most of these actions every day!!
